BACHMANN > Diesel Locomotives > CLASS 57
Five hundred and twelve Type 4 Class 47s Diesel-Electric Locomotives were produced between 1962-68, a small number were re-built with new engines/electrical systems.
- Class 57/0 - The original batch of twelve Class 47s conversions
- Class 57/3 - Conversions fitted with Dellner couplers to allow haulage of Pendolinos
- Class 57/6 - After a Porterbrook Demonstrator a small batch was produced for FGW
Class 57/0 > Ex-Farish Model
The intial Bachmann version featured a new split-frame motor but did not include any lights and was basically a re-liveried Class 47.
